The hotel itself was nice, but we weren’t told how serious the motorcycle theft problem was. Police said it was widespread in the area after my motorcycle was stolen in Sep 25. Two motorcycles had also been taken from the hotel the week before.
8/10
The food was delicious, and there’s a nice, inexpensive spa. The room had no minibar or TV, though. It’s right beside the main road, about 4 km from the next town, and has plenty of free parking.
10/10
If you’re into food, you’ll be pleased with what the chefs serve up. The location is ideal for motorcycle enthusiasts, too. We found the rooms comfortable and clean, and the whole team was friendly, excellent, and very accommodating. Well worth staying here.
10/10
We stopped for one night while passing through the region. The restaurant was the standout, serving beautifully presented gourmet food in a spot tucked away in the forest. The renovated rooms had plenty of charm, and the shower was a lovely waterfall style. It gets very busy in high season, so booking ahead would be necessary.
10/10
We made good use of the wellness area, especially the whirlpool and sauna, during our lovely week here in July 2022. The hotel has been renovated and feels modern and pleasant, with clean, cozy rooms and spacious bathrooms. Service in the restaurant was very professional, and the food was amazing. I’d recommend the steak with foiegras, then cake and ice cream for dessert. There’s also a great choice of wines and cocktails. Outside, the beautiful surroundings have cycling routes and plenty of walking options.
