Christine and her family gave us such a friendly welcome, with flowers and fresh raspberries from the garden. The apartment is very clean, nicely set up with plenty of crockery and a washing machine, and has cute beach hut decor. Lanton is quiet and makes a good base for getting to either end of the bay. It was very hot, in the mid-30s, while we were there, so a fan or air conditioning would have been a welcome extra. Recommended!

Even with the poor weather, we had a wonderful stay. The cottage is beautiful, with lovely decor, excellent quality amenities and everything fully equipped, in a lush green setting that made it a pleasant place to spend time. It’s well placed for exploring the whole bay, and Christine and Jean were charming hosts, helpful and quick to respond to our requests.

We found this lovely cottage while looking for a base to explore Arcachon Bay. It’s very well located, thoughtfully decorated and furnished, with everything needed for a great stay. The hosts are warm and charming. Such a delightful find.

The owners were attentive while still giving us privacy, and we’ll definitely return. The cottage was ideal for a romantic break in this beautiful area. The decor, cleanliness and comfort were all just right, and it felt like home.

We really enjoyed meeting the locals and making use of the handy cycle paths, which meant we could leave the car behind. The cottage itself was lovely, quiet, clean and tastefully decorated. The owners were welcoming and around if we needed them.
