We only got to spend one night at this lovely place, which was such a pity. If we're ever nearby again, we'll definitely return.

We came planning to stay just two days, but this old inn, more than 300 years old, turned out to be a real gem. The garden, animals, and people all seem to share such a lovely sense of harmony, and it’s an easy place to relax. Muriel’s offer of dinner was hard to resist, and the meal was sumptuous. The hosts are wonderfully welcoming. A little paradise on earth, highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

The family room was comfortable, and breakfast was generous, though a few more local items would have made it just right. We also had an excellent evening meal made with local produce and things fresh from the garden. The grounds are lovely, with a pool, and the welcome was super friendly.

We had a calm, relaxing stay and such welcoming hosts. We even watched the whole Olympic Games ceremony in the hostel lounge.
