Hôtel du Tramway

Secure parking was €3, and the person at reception was really good. The room itself was clean and modern, with a well-equipped wet room, a very comfortable bed, and bright white bedding and towels. You wouldn't guess it from the exterior. Breakfast was good value at €11, and the hotel was better than some chain places. Ideal for an overnight stop or short stay.

We got down at 7.15am and breakfast was already ready, even though we'd asked for 7.30 because we wanted an early start for the coast. There was a great choice: yoghurts, cereals, pastries, bread, fruit, cold meats, and hot and cold drinks. It was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. We'd booked this as our last night before taking the Shuttle home the next day and weren't expecting much, but what a good choice. The hotel was beautifully furnished, and the rooms had everything we could wish for, including a large comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Underground parking could be booked in advance, with lift access to the hotel and every floor. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and even changed our room when it turned out our pre-booked one hadn't initially been assigned.

We were part of an organised tour and stayed three nights, so I don't know what it cost. The welcome, room, and breakfast were all superb.

We slept really well, thanks to a comfortable, quiet room. It's a nice little hotel in a peaceful spot by the railway station, and the room was basic but very clean and pristine. Parking outside was free on Sunday night, and breakfast had a good spread.
