La Maison des 3 Rois

We stopped here on the drive from the UK to the South of France, and it was the perfect place to rest. The rooms are spacious and bright, breakfast is delicious, and the town is charming. Pierre was a very helpful host. We’d love to come back!

We only stayed one night on our way to Calais and back to the UK, but a simple stopover turned into a beautiful, memorable last night. Pierre was so warm and welcoming, and we loved the style and decor of this gorgeous place. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the children especially loved the chocolate cake. It’s a great base for a wander around Laon. Absolutely magical and delightful, don’t hesitate to book.

Pierre was so welcoming, and the shared spaces are especially beautifully decorated. We stayed one night on the way back from the south to Calais, and felt completely relaxed and at home. The house is full of character, with a lovely walk around the medieval town and plenty of places to eat. Our family room was amazing: an interconnected double room and kids’ room with a shared bathroom. It felt like great value for all that space.

Laon is beautiful, with plenty of places to eat and drink, and we’ll be back for a longer visit. One night wasn’t nearly enough. Pierre is a great host, and our room was spectacular, even after climbing three flights of stairs. The house itself is breathtaking, full of history and charm.
