Les Rosiers de Cels

We paid €100 for the night for three people, breakfast included, and Les Sièges felt like a typical little French village, just like the old days. The room was quiet and really pleasant. One room had a single bed and tasteful decor, while the other had a double. There were lovely exposed beams, sliding curtains over the window above the fireplace, and a bright bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, towels and washcloths. There was even a hairdryer for the ladies. We were in town for a wedding and arrived a bit earlier than expected. Mr. Lenglet had already prepared the room, welcomed us warmly, showed us around and explained how everything worked so we could get ready. We’d agreed on breakfast at 9:00, but after getting home at 4:30, getting up then was going to be tough. We didn’t make it until 11:15. I apologized, and Mr. Lenglet just smiled and brought out the breakfast he’d prepared. We enjoyed it and had a chat with him. It was generous too, with croissants, tea, coffee, cheese, cereal and orange juice. A lovely place to stop in a village of 450 people.
