Idyllic French château surrounded by rolling hills- Chateau de Lassalle

The catered meals were fantastic, and it was such a treat not to have to shop, cook, or clean up. I especially loved the Persian dinner Sassan prepared. Christina and Sassan were warm, generous hosts and shared lots of good ideas for exploring the area. We hiked near Moirax, rode bikes along the canal in Agen, had dinner at Michelin-starred Auberge Le Prieuré in Moirax, went to the Thursday night market in Lamontjoie, and shopped at the Friday market in Lectoure. There was plenty to fill a week, with time to relax too. We stayed at Chateau de Lassalle for a week with friends in July 2025. The bedrooms were spacious, with lovely views of the grounds. The big kitchen table and outdoor spots worked perfectly for our group, whether we were having morning coffee, sharing meals, or watching the sunset with wine. The pool was a great place to unwind together. Chateau de Lassalle is beautiful, but the photos don't capture how comfortable and welcoming it feels. It was like staying with family, who just happen to own a stunning chateau. Everything about the stay was absolute perfection.

I slept better at Château de Lassalle than I have in ages, and came home feeling completely recharged. Between yoga sessions, the pool was the perfect place to relax. The property is peaceful, beautiful, and full of character, with grounds that are stunning and a space that feels thoughtfully cared for. Christina and Sassan made us feel at home and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. The rooms were comfortable, and all the little touches made things feel effortless. We also had a private chef preparing fresh, delicious food every day. Christina and Sassan arranged outings to nearby towns, where we visited local markets and got a real sense of the area. It was a lovely mix of downtime and adventure. We were there for David’s yoga retreat, and everyone left dreaming about future trips to the chateau with our families. I can't wait to return.

The pool was fabulous, and impressively clean given the huge property and its countryside setting. The rooms are beautiful, and the chateau has been lovingly renovated to feel comfortable and modern while keeping its original charm. We hosted a retreat here, and Sassan and Christina helped us find wonderful local chefs, plan excursions, and set up a spectacular yoga studio and crafting space for our guests. The owners were incredible to work with. The pictures don't prepare you for the first view through the gates or the chateau grounds. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we're planning to host more retreats here. It's an ideal place to stay or run a retreat, and we came away with memories we'll keep for a lifetime.

We spent the week with old and new friends and had such a wonderful time. The landscapes are breathtaking, and the patio is relaxing any time of day. The Chateau feels lovely and modern where it needs to, while still being astonishingly authentic. The location and the hosts were just as amazing. Christina and Sassan helped organize catering and shared ideas for outings, hiking, biking, walking paths, and just about everything else nearby. We plan to come back often.
