Hotel Les Mouettes

I was there for just one business night and wished I could have stayed longer. The location is perfect and the value is great, and I’ll definitely return for a private visit. The restaurant was fantastic, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating when helping me choose.

The service was truly top level, and every dish was beautifully presented. I started with a lovely pea dish with zucchini flower and burrata, then tried the pigeon. I can’t say whether it was well prepared, since the taste just wasn’t for me. The profiteroles with ice cream and chocolate sauce made up for it, though. The restaurant has a breathtaking view and exquisite food.

We loved the calm setting, the modern renovation, and the beach and sea feel of the interior. The rooms were spacious, the service was nice, and breakfast had an amazing view, perhaps the best we’ve ever had with breakfast. It wasn’t a huge spread, but the focus on quality came through in the goat cheese and fresh juices. A few things kept this from being a five-star review for us. The beach is calm and remote but covered in algae, and there are better beaches nearby. It also isn’t directly accessible from the hotel: you have to walk about 200 meters around to find steps down to it. A small wooden staircase could be a good fix. Parking is short in the evening because the restaurant is popular with locals. The restaurant serves very good high cuisine, but the prices are high too, so on a longer stay we might not want to eat there every night. A simpler menu for hotel guests could be ideal. If you enjoy high cuisine and want a calm environment, I do recommend it.

The sea view and location are amazing, and breakfast was good. My room was a bit too small, though it was very clean. The prices are fair, so I can’t complain.
