We planned on two nights and stayed three. We would have happily stayed longer if our schedule allowed it. The views and walks are lovely, and the place is quiet and relaxing. Fabrice gave us a friendly welcome, the food from Roman was amazing, and there’s a bar and an on-site shop. The toilets are modern and super clean. Everything a couple could want for a peaceful getaway. I’d love to own a dream campsite like this.

The terraces have clearly marked grass pitches, and the site is peaceful with stunning views. Mountain weather can roll in, though. It’s a small, basic campsite and good value, with clean, modern facilities. Showers may involve a queue at busy times. There’s only a tiny shop in the village and a bakery open in the mornings, so come prepared.

Our pitch had a beautiful mountain view, and nighttime was so quiet that all we heard was nature. The managers made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Facilities were clean, well cared for, and had everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay at Camping Ixtila, and would recommend it to anyone after a peaceful campsite in a beautiful spot.

It feels more like a set of private gardens than a campsite, and the mountain views are beautiful. We paid 18€ for two people and a tent, which was a good price. The facilities were clean and the staff very nice. In high season, it can fill up, so calling ahead to reserve a pitch is a good idea.

We were cycling as a pair and liked that there are pitches set aside for hikers and cyclists. This time we stayed in one of the converted campers instead of camping, and loved it. It was well priced, the hosts were great, and we’d stay again. The campsite shop also has reasonably priced basics, handy since there isn’t a shop in the village.
