L'Auberge Catalane

We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant, and breakfast the next morning came with homemade cake and yoghurt. Our room was comfortable and clean, with an incredible view. The host was understanding and accommodating about our vegetarian and vegan dietary needs. We’d love to come back to L'Auberge Catalane on another trip. Thank you!

Jordi and Isabella made our last night in France, after a month there, easy and memorable. We’d been travelling through the Pyrenees by train and were stopping over between le petit train jaune from Villefranche de Conflent and the RENFE train to Barcelona the next day. With our small child and all our luggage, we were stranded at Latour de Carol train station and had no idea where we were. The new proprietors offered to pick us up and take us back to the station each day. They also made us a delicious dinner and breakfast. Our family room slept four, with plenty of space and privacy. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great, and everything was spotless. Jordi is a charming host who speaks several languages, so as English speakers we had no trouble communicating. The hosts were welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the homemade food was lovely. Thank you, Jordi and Isabella!

The atmosphere feels like family, and the service was lovely. The rooms, bathrooms, breakfast, everything was fantastic. We’re so glad we found this place. We’ll definitely be back.
