The owners are really nice. It’s a beautiful place, a real farm updated into a cozy hotel room.

We ended up at this rural Chambre d’Hôte by chance and got a lovely, tastefully decorated first-floor room. It had a spacious en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi, though we didn’t use it. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, including organic produce, and it was excellent. The owner was friendly and helpful, but seemed a little too keen for us to stay another night while we were discussing things among ourselves. Payment had to be in cash, tourist tax included, so we went to an ATM in the neighbouring village. We weren’t given a bill.
