That view over the Ardèche mountains made the trip worthwhile, and the hotel was quiet and comfortable. It’s a lovely place to unwind. The restaurant was just as good, with tasty regional dishes prepared with care. The owner is warm, genuine, and clearly passionate. I’d happily come back, and recommend it.

I only visited the rooms, I didn’t stay the night, but they were clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The tasteful decor made them feel really welcoming. The meal was a pleasure too: delicious regional food made with quality ingredients, and you can tell there’s care for local specialties. I’ll be back! 😊

We live in Vals and have been coming since the place opened. Never been disappointed. The dishes are homemade with fresh ingredients, and the cooking is delicious without being fussy, from appetizer through dessert. It’s a quiet setting with such a warm welcome. We recommend it without hesitation. Hope you enjoy discovering it!

After a delicious meal, the scenery and idyllic surroundings are a treat. We eat at the inn regularly, in summer and during the off-season, and it’s always a pleasure. The welcome is warm and friendly, and local products feature on the menu, including regional charcuterie.

If you're driving the little roads around Laviole in Ardèche, make time to stop at l auberge des Plantades. Margaux and Antoine will give you a warm welcome and introduce you to the menu and the daily special. Everything was delicious and very generous, homemade with local products. One to remember.
