From the breakfast table, the village view was amazing, so make sure you eat in. We spent one night here and loved the place. The owner was really nice, always around to help, and happily gave us good advice. Our room was spacious, very clean, and looked out over the village.

We had a fantastic stay here with nine people. The castle feels spacious, warm, lively, and welcoming, and I’d highly recommend renting the whole place. There are six very large bedrooms with comfortable beds, plus a bathtub and toilet in every bathroom. We also had a big terrace with an electric barbecue, a roomy conservatory, a fully equipped kitchen, and more. What a magnificent place!

We loved wandering around Lebar-sur-Loup, whose atmosphere was lovely. I found the town much more appealing than the more touristy Grasse and Valbonne nearby. The hotel is a landmark in this small town, about a 20-minute taxi ride from Grasse. It feels more like a converted manor house than a castle, and was wonderful. The rooms still have their old-world charm, while the bathrooms have been updated to be easier to use, and the view is fantastic. Go for the full breakfast if you can: the cheese, croissants, and cured ham were all delicious and high quality, and the breakfast room has a superb view. Highly recommended!
