La Petite Auberge

This family-run hotel sits up on a hill, with the area’s best sunset views and an amazing chef. Everyone on staff is super nice and always smiling. The walk down from Tourtour takes only 10 minutes, with picture-perfect views of the French countryside along the way. A must see. Cheers, and we’ll see you in September.

I already miss this place. It’s a fantastic family hotel where you feel at home right away, and everything from the food to the view feels perfect.

My toddler was in paradise here. There’s a high chair and crib, and the grounds have a pool, fitness center, tennis court, fig and olive trees, plus wild blackberries. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the customer service went above and beyond.

We loved our five nights in July 2022 and would come back. The location feels wonderfully secluded, 300 m below Tourtour up a steep hill, and a car is essential for exploring from here. Our suite, room 8, had stunning views and was very clean. The A/C was essential during the hot spell. The hosts were superb, especially when they helped us after BA cancelled our flights and we arrived late. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, as was the one dinner we had, and the staff made a great G and T. The pool was warm and had plenty of beds.
