Novotel Le Bourget Aeroport

The way guests were treated at breakfast felt clearly discriminatory. Some people were served properly, while we were told to get cheese and tomatoes from a Coca-Cola-style fridge instead of being offered a decent meal. It was unacceptable, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Easily the worst breakfast experience I’ve had.

There were no restaurants open on weekends, so lunch and dinner meant relying on UberEats. When I asked the bar to heat my pizza, I got a very curt no. Restaurant staff also ignored requests, even simple ones like having rice instead of fries, and there was no orange juice at breakfast for three days. Cutlery was left lying around in the room for four days. The mattress cover was too small, only 15 cm, so I woke up on the torn mattress pad. A disastrous stay.

I found the hotel incredibly clean, rooms included, so something seems to have changed despite all the negative reviews. My room was quiet, with double windows, and the food was very good. The staff were kind and always available. Judging by the other reviews, they seem to be improving.

At least the reception staff were friendly and professional. The rest of the stay was awful: old rooms, a sewage smell, poor-quality amenities and bathroom fixtures, and small, old toilets with stains. There was garbage all over the streets nearby, and the area was horrible, close to a wastewater facility. It was noisy, and the four windows couldn’t be opened because of the noise. I also couldn’t control the heat or air conditioning, which came from a hole and blew on me constantly. I don’t know how this is a 4-star hotel. It’s not Mercure standard. I’ll never come back, and this was the worst quality-to-price ratio I’ve encountered in my travels.
