Camping RCN Belledonne

We stayed in a mobile home with Eurocamp at the end of the season, when the site was very quiet. There were only a few people at the pool or restaurant, which made for a peaceful visit. We didn't use the shower blocks or toilets, but the site generally looked clean and well kept. Special credit to the Eurocamp rep, as our accommodation was spotless. The restaurant was excellent. The menu isn't huge, and the food we tried was really good, though fairly expensive, around 20-25 euro for a main course. There are cheaper choices like pizza, plus snacks such as fries or nachos. Everyone we dealt with, from reception to the shop, bar and restaurant, was friendly. The site is very Dutch, so you'll need Dutch or English.

We only booked two nights in our motorhome, but would gladly have stayed longer if our schedule allowed. The pitch was level and the staff were helpful and polite. The mountain scenery all around is beautiful, and floating in the nice pool while looking up at snowy peaks was mesmerising. The facilities were clean and well maintained. One to return to!

The site was very clean, with really good facilities. There’s a small but useful shop for essentials, including morning bread and pastries, and a nice on-site Bistro. It’s open all day for drinks and snacks, then serves dinner in the evening. I’d recommend it and will certainly look...

The staff were polite and attentive, and the location is handy for cycle paths along the river. The site caters for motorhomes, with spacious pitches. The layout of the conveniences and washing-up area is good, but one shower block was closed during our visit and the other needs updating. The disabled facilities by reception, in the laundry room, need reviewing too. There was nowhere to hang a towel or robe, no soap at the basin, and no way to dry your hands. Ostomates will struggle. One pool was heated, but not enough to tempt me in.
