The owners were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast had more options than you usually find in France, including eggs made to order. There’s also a shared room with a microwave and a fridge stocked with drinks for purchase, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The outdoor jacuzzi was included, but it was out of order, so we got to use the sauna after skiing instead, which was great for tired legs, though that usually costs extra. Our room on the top floor was cozy and larger than it looked in the picture. It’s a newly renovated and decorated B&B in an old farmhouse, about a 10-minute drive from the new lift to Oz. There’s a kettle with tea and instant coffee in the room. The old walls are quite thin, so light sleepers may want earplugs.

We used this relaxing place as a base for cycling Alpe d’Huez during a French road trip. There was space for our bikes in the garage, along with a fridge/freezer and laundry facilities if needed. It was lovely making friends with the little cat, too.

The setting is incredibly beautiful and peaceful, with wonderful mountain views from this chalet near the bottom of Alpes D'Huez. I came with 10 friends, and we all agreed it was one of the most beautiful chalets we’d stayed in. The two hosts were among the friendliest and most accommodating we’ve met in all our travels, even when some of our requests were unreasonable. They were warm and smiling throughout our 5 day stay. The chalet had what we needed: comfortable beds and pillows, strong showers with plenty of warm water, rustic rooms with wooden floors and balconies, plus a jacuzzi and sauna. After a long day skiing or snowboarding, those were incredible. If you’re considering booking, go ahead. You won’t be disappointed.

We stayed in late May and rode around the area. This lovely chalet style house is in a perfect spot for visiting Parc Des Ecrins and cycling the main Cols nearby. The rooms were very comfortable, and the jacuzzi was just right after a long day on the bike. Peter the owner and his Wife cooked us a wonderful meal. Highly recommended, and we’ll be back.

Really nice place, huge rooms, and a super friendly owner. The breakfast was great too.
