Atmospheres

The dining room is thoughtfully decorated, with enough space between tables for private conversations. The wine cellar is a real highlight, with fantastic choices from the region, the Alps and elsewhere in France. The food looked lovely, and the textures and flavors worked beautifully together. Both the kitchen and service teams were attentive and well coordinated, and the whole meal felt very carefully done. Being looked after so warmly left me feeling grateful and humble. If you don't want to travel on afterward, you can stay in one of the guest rooms and enjoy breakfast the next morning.

We'd gladly make the long drive again. Delfin and her team were so warm and helpful, even with the language barrier, and made us feel at home. Their love for the region came through in the local ingredients, the creative dishes, the wine list and the beautiful presentation. It was an unforgettable meal, and our compliments to the chef.

The food is good, just not exceptional, and the service can feel cold or downright unfriendly. It makes you want to hurry through dinner and leave. I've been here a few times over the years with friends and family, but it's definitely not a favorite. Still worth a first visit, though.

The view is really beautiful, and the pleasant service and nice atmosphere add to it. We especially liked the duck and tomato dishes. The prices were quite high, though.
