Campanile NATURE - Bordeaux Ouest Le Bouscat

The tram stop nearby makes getting around easy, and the staff were nice. The price was reasonable, so it could do in a pinch. But the bed was below par, the air conditioning was broken in two of our three rooms, and one room had a smell like something had died in the drains.

There’s a Leclerc nearby and a bakery where you can get breakfast. The restaurant looked great, though I didn’t get to try it. The room itself was a letdown compared with the photos: the lighting was dim, the bathroom was a bit dirty, with some hairs and odd bits of something, and the room still wasn’t finished when we arrived. Two hours later, the pillows still had no covers. I’d been excited by the rustic look, but it didn’t match what we found.

The food was good for our riders during the Tour De Gironde. We had a good stay, thanks, and until next time!

An alarm kept me awake all night. The rooms are old, and the place didn’t feel friendly. People live there, and laundry was hanging on the bushes to dry.
