Breakfast was just as memorable, with beautiful views over the surrounding scenery. We also had a wonderful dinner at the hotel restaurant, where the chef’s creativity really stood out. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, and the staff handled every little detail with care. The secluded, romantic setting made this the best hotel experience of my life.

We chose this gracious hotel and restaurant to celebrate our 30th anniversary, and it made for a glorious evening. Dining at the chef's table gave us a chance to watch the kitchen serve a full dining room. We even got to meet Chef Descouls' lovely wife and adorable children. Well worth the trip from Texas!

The views alone make this place worth visiting. The restaurant is gorgeous, with art and decor that feels soft but still sophisticated. It looked like a setting from Game of Thrones or House of Dragon, maybe even Kings Landing. We spent four hours over lunch, enjoying the view and the food. We chose the six-course meat and fish menu, and everything was tasty and beautifully presented. The fish and the little bites between the main courses stood out, and the cheese selection was excellent. I only tried two glasses of Auvergne white wine, but both were great. Service was spot on. A once-in-a-lifetime experience I won't forget.
