Chateau De La Foltiere

The owner was a charming young woman, always ready to help, and this place deserves a better rating and many more grateful guests. We loved having access to the huge, picturesque park around the chateau at any hour, even at night. Walking there alone was such a great feeling, and the garden is worth visiting in its own right, not just because I was searching for a chateau near Mont Saint-Michel. Our room had been beautifully refurbished, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. My parents prefer savory food in the morning, so the owners kindly brought us fried eggs and cheese. Bretagne was pretty cold that summer, but the owners agreed to turn on some heat for us. There was one issue with the water system. After my shower, my husband was left with only cold water. I hope it’s an easy fix.
