Domaine de l'Ocrerie

We spent a lovely time relaxing in the spacious garden, with plenty of chairs and hammocks for sitting in the sun. Inside, our room was quiet and roomy, had a nice garden view, and came with everything we needed. The fluffy robes were a nice touch. Cathy welcomed us warmly, showed us around, and made us feel at home right away. You can see the care in the decor throughout the place. There’s an exhibition space downstairs, and Cathy kindly opened it for a private look. She also shared lots of helpful ideas for places to see on our drive out of Auxerre. The vegetarian dinner she made was full of flavor, and breakfast was great too. We left well fed and would happily stay again. 😊

There was room to unwind in the beautiful garden, and inside the house we kept finding new things to discover in its collection of art. Cathy and Gill made us feel at home throughout our week at Domaine de l’Ocrerie. Their suggestions for places to visit and restaurants were great, and we had a wonderful holiday in the middle of Burgundy.

The sunny garden was a lovely place for apéritifs, and we enjoyed the tour of the Collette exhibition. Our room was beautiful, the hosts made us feel very welcome, and the meals were delicious. We’d hoped for somewhere special for our last night in France, and it couldn’t have worked out better. Thank you, Cathy and Gilles!
