Domaine de la Blonnerie

Anne and Patrick’s hospitality made our four-day stay feel magical. We came on a trip full of childhood memories, and they went out of their way to make it special: a very generous welcome, a thoughtful note, a tour of the domaine, photos and stories, and meeting Serge. The list goes on. They know the region so well, and their recommendations led us to many great places. Domaine de la Blonnerie has been renovated to a very high standard, with tasteful, cosy rooms and common spaces that feel luxurious while honoring the Blonnerie’s history. Breakfasts were generous and varied, with delicious local produce. Anne and Patrick are special people caring for a very special place, and I’m so glad it’s in their hands. We’ll be back for tea sometime, and we’ll bring the chouquettes ❤️

We came across this gem while driving through France, and can’t wait to return. The location and rooms are wonderful, but the hosts especially made our stay spectacular. Their hospitality was much appreciated. Thanks, Nico! We couldn’t recommend it more.

We were three couples, and every one of us loved this special place. The rooms are beautiful and full of history, and breakfast was perfect and presented so nicely. One evening, we had cheese and wine by the pool; Patrick and Anne kindly brought glasses, plates, placemats, and napkins. Such class from start to finish. Thank you, and we really hope to visit again!

Domaine Blonnerie was a wonderful base for Cheverny and the Loire valley, and we’re already planning a return. We loved the peaceful setting and beautiful room, but the warm, welcoming hosts stood out most. They also served a lovely breakfast. Both the property and the hosts were outstanding.
