The rooms had only a basic setup, but the countryside feel, family atmosphere, and yummy breakfast were a real wow. This quiet, secluded hotel was quite a find.

Tucked among the trees, La Rabouillère has a lovely, romantic setting, with sunlight coming softly through the leaves. We got a very warm welcome from a charming host. It’s one of those rare places with a peaceful atmosphere all its own.

The hosts were so pleasant, and children are very welcome. Our clean, romantic room and the quiet, relaxing setting made for a lovely stay. Breakfast was varied, delicious, and just right. We’d happily return to enjoy the nearby castles, and highly recommend it.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here with our children and grandchildren, staying in one of the cottages. It was bright and spacious, with everything we needed. After days spent visiting castles, we loved settling by the wood-burning stove in the peaceful forest with a fire and an aperitif. The owner was very attentive and caring toward guests. I highly recommend the place.

The owner welcomed us so warmly, and breakfast was superb. Our room was beautiful and very clean, in a magnificent house. It’s also conveniently located for castle visits. Excellent place to stay, highly recommend.
