Villa Surelles - 3 chambres - piscine - Le Diamant

The host was so helpful, welcoming, and flexible, and this quiet little stay felt like a bit of paradise. The house had absolutely everything. I’d forgotten a few things at home and worried I’d have to go out and buy them, but there they were when I checked the cupboards. It was a lovely break, and I’ll definitely come back.

Caroline welcomed us warmly and shared useful information. The house was lovely, and after a day out sightseeing or at the beach, the pool was especially welcome. The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well.

We were able to collect the keys when we arrived, earlier than planned, and Caroline gave us a detailed tour and useful tips. The flexible check-in and check-out times were much appreciated. The house matched the photos, from the well-equipped kitchen to the furnished terrace. The bedrooms had good air conditioning, and there were cleaning products, laundry supplies, and a welcome basket. The pool was lovely throughout the day, though with the heat and local conditions you do need to use the skimmer net. A couple of small drawbacks: the pool alarm wasn’t needed, and we had to take out its batteries ourselves. That wasn’t Caroline’s fault, since she had clearly told her colleague what to do, but he seemed pretty laid-back. The only beach you can walk to is worth one visit; you’ll need a car for the others. If I’m being picky, a parasol to shade part of the pool between 9am and 1pm would be handy. Big thanks for the stay!

The host was charming, and the villa had everything we needed. It’s spacious, all on one level, and set in a quiet, secure neighborhood with no one overlooking it. You can walk into the town of Diamant in a short time. Even in July it was pleasantly breezy. We felt comfortable booking here and would do so again.
