La Fermette du Rohiou

Breakfast was simple but enjoyable, and the building, rooms, and furnishings all have plenty of charm. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The room's cleanliness was a letdown, though: we found hair in the bed, on the towels, and in the sink drain when we arrived. During our three-night family stay, the room was never tidied and the towels were never replaced.

A lovely base for a family, with activities and sights in the area easy to reach. The setting is beautiful and very well kept, the room was clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and the owners were really friendly.

The shower in the room for four is right in the bedroom, so there's not much privacy. Noise from the room above also carries through the floor into the room below. The linens were clean, but breakfast wasn't great. We arrived in the middle of the night to find the room freezing and the heating off, then got told off for leaving the heat on. That was a lovely way to start the morning, seriously not cool. I hardly ever leave negative reviews, though.

Breakfast was a sociable time with the other guests, and Mrs. Le Diuzet's homemade jams were a lovely touch. The farmhouse, La fermette du Rohiou, is quiet, beautiful, and well cared for, with pleasant places nearby, including Pontrieux, Bréhec and the beach, the ocean, and Paimpol. That list could go on. Mrs. and Mr. Le Diuzet welcomed us warmly; they're charming and funny, and we felt comfortable around them right away. Their tips for seeing the area were great. A lovely rental with a great atmosphere, and we'd highly recommend it!
