Hôtel Le Vermont

The rooms were clean and spacious, and ours had a nice balcony. The staff were very friendly too. After skiing, the spa and pool were excellent, with the hot tub managed so every guest could use it each day. And breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in the Alps. I’d happily come back.

The living room is nice, but the rooms are small, and there are only paper cups in them. The cleaner takes away the glasses every day, so we have to ask for replacements each time. The hotel bar is closed, and the sauna shuts at 7.40 PM even though its stated hours are 4.00-8.00 PM. Reception staff also speak English and Spanish.

We booked a ski trip to France on a whim and were glad to find this place. Our room was spacious, clean and lovely, with 10/10 European wooden chalet vibes. Everyone at the hotel has been more than kind. You can hear that the wooden building isn’t fully soundproof, but nights are quiet and we slept comfortably. After a full day on the slopes, the spa and sauna were a big plus and left us feeling relaxed. Breakfast was homemade, with lots of delicious baked goods and other tasty choices, just right for loading up on carbs before skiing. The location is prime too: parking was easy to find and there are plenty of food options around town. Most of the staff speak good English. I especially appreciated the receptionists’ patience while I tried to get my spoken French back. People often switch to English when they realize you’re not a native speaker, but I was grateful for the chance to practise and for those who kept speaking French with me. We’d love to come back next year. Well done to l’équipe Le Vermont!!!

We had a joyful long weekend with friends at the Vermont Hotel. The lift is very close, which was the cherry on top. Rooms were very clean, and the sauna and pool were fantastic. The staff were welcoming, kind and ready to help, and the good mood made the stay even nicer. Thanks, Vermont team!
