Breakfast was good, and the welcome was warm. The central spot is handy for the shops and restaurants. The room was clean but looked a little tired, and the bathroom door wouldn't close properly.

A lovely spot to unwind over coffee while looking out at the harbour.

I was only here briefly, but the staff were really pleasant and helpful, and the rooms are in a great location with an incredible view. The one unpleasant surprise was a cockroach on the stairs 😅

The hotel is charming, clean, well cared for, and surprisingly quiet for such a central spot. It also has a beautiful view. Belle Vue d'Angleterre Hotel is right in the heart of the city, within easy reach of the shops, restaurants, amenities, and main tourist sights, so I could get around on foot without transport. The manager deserves a special mention for being so welcoming, kind, and available. I had a wonderful stay, highly recommend the hotel, and would gladly come back.
