Hilton Garden Inn Le Havre, France

A kettle in my room caused a short circuit. Staff responded right away, restored the power, and replaced the appliance in the middle of the night. The hotel is conveniently located, with clean rooms, a very good breakfast, and friendly, helpful staff.

I stayed here on two separate occasions and would definitely come back. It's a hotel with a nice atmosphere, and the restaurant serves good quality food from a good selection of hot and cold breakfast items. On street parking is free from 17.30 to 9. Recommended!

I was in town one night, waiting to join a vessel. I arrived before midnight and found the reception staffed, with helpful people there. The hotel is central, with a nice bar serving good beers on tap. My room was a typical Ibis size, small but adequate. The bed was super comfy and I slept great. Wi-Fi was good and fast, the shower was good, and the shower wash smelled nice. The TV didn't work, but that didn't bother me. The best thing was breakfast: it was awesome and delicious. Camembert always tastes better in France. There were fresh fruits, cheeses and hams, rustic bread and pastries, cereals, yoghurts and eggs.

We arrived at 21:35 and were told the kitchen had closed at 21:30, leaving only the meals available 24 hours. We ordered some, but half the options weren't available. We also ordered dessert, then waited and eventually realized the order had been forgotten and the waitress had left the hotel. Many thanks to the night receptionist, who made our desserts even though it wasn't his responsibility. Only the receptionist spoke English, and we had trouble communicating with the waitresses. More people at an international hotel chain like IBIS should know English. The entertainment options, such as table tennis and table football, were very good.
