Villa Louisental

The location is hard to beat, and the house was spotless. We stayed in this lovely holiday home last weekend and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked, and there are lots of outdoor games to use, including table tennis and boules. We can recommend it wholeheartedly.

We found it easy to unwind here. The villa sits at the quiet edge of the village, right beside the forest, and we really enjoyed our week with nine adults and three children. The big kitchen has room for cooking, meals, and games together; the bathrooms were clean and the bedrooms roomy enough. There’s a good walk from the house to the Neuntelstein rock formation or the waterfall, and a botanical garden with a sequoia tree is nearby. For anything beyond the village’s restaurants and bread vending machine, you’ll need a car. A beautiful, relaxing stay.

The owner and manager were both very friendly and helpful, and the kitchen had everything we needed to feed a large group, with plenty of variety in its equipment. We spent a week at Villa Louisental for a seminar, and the participants were happy with the well-equipped house and spacious grounds. Its eight lovely rooms sleep 15 people. In summer we could work outside without interruption, finding sun or shade around the grounds, with a refreshing breeze from the forest bordering the villa.

We were so grateful for the comfort, cleanliness, and friendly feel of the house. The mattresses and pillows were especially comfortable, and it was well heated, though now and then there was a little draft in the hallway. The garden was cared for, and the neighbors were friendly but unobtrusive. We loved the welcoming atmosphere, especially sitting by the fireplace and looking out at the forest. The house had what we needed, even thermoses and plastic picnic dishes. The kitchen was full of spices and supplies, and gave the impression that the owner enjoys cooking and wants guests to feel at home. No complaints at all.
