You can hear everything through the walls, from showers and toilet flushes to doors closing. The bedding was incredibly uncomfortable, like a camping mattress would’ve been better. The shower was appalling too, tiny, and the tape meant to hold the shower head in place didn’t hold it at all. I absolutely don’t recommend this place.

The room was perfectly adequate, and the welcome was very friendly. The food was excellent, and the staff were professional and helpful. The drawbacks were the terrible soundproofing and a curtain separating the bathroom and toilet from the bedroom. It’s manageable for showering, but using the toilet with your companion right there is awkward, and nobody wants that. There are shared toilets in the hallway, though.

The room cost €49, with breakfast at €10. There was a good selection at breakfast, but it felt expensive. The place was quiet and well located, and check-in was quick and efficient. The bedroom is separated from the bathroom and toilet by only a curtain, though there’s another toilet on the landing.

The room was spacious and very clean, with a very large bed. The staff were really friendly, and the setting was pleasant and peaceful. The only small downside was the cramped area with the shower, toilet, and sink. I visit the region often, so this is going to become a regular stop for me.
