K LBASS DES ILEs

The kids are still asking when we’ll go back to Jean-Pierre’s, which says plenty. We stayed as a family with children aged 4 and 9, and the place worked really well for us. It was clean, with two roomy bedrooms, quality beds, fans and air conditioning. Mosquito screens on the windows meant we could air things out, and the kitchen and bathroom had what we needed. We ate on the terrace and enjoyed the tidy garden and pool. The pool is a nice size for a dip and relaxing. The enclosed grounds have a separate electric gate for guests, making it easy to drive to the house and giving us extra peace of mind for the children and our belongings. Jean-Pierre was very welcoming, shared tastes from Guadeloupe and his garden, and pointed us toward places to see, while still giving us plenty of privacy. The location is handy for the town’s shops and services, as well as the main roads to island activities. We’d recommend it for exploring Guadeloupe.

Jean Pierre and his wife welcomed us in February for a trip with our young children, aged 8 and 4. We felt at ease right away. The individual apartment gave us the freedom and privacy we wanted, and Jean Pierre was generous with advice about Guadeloupe’s hidden gems, even though we only had 10 days. The apartment was just right for us, with air conditioning, a clean bathroom, comfortable quality beds, and a good location. We highly recommend it for a family stay. We’ve already booked another visit to K'lbass des Îles for January 2025, after staying there with friends in January 2023. We loved the new, attractive house, especially its two terraces for breakfast, and the pool made the place feel like a little paradise. Jean-Pierre was attentive and friendly, cared about our comfort, and had great suggestions for things to do and excursions around the island. We can’t wait to return to Maison Cerise.
