Bungalow With 3 Bedrooms in Le Muy, With Shared Pool and Furnished Terrace - 21 km From the Beach

For people in tents, the facilities weren't ideal, though I imagine things could be quite different if you rent a home or bring your own motorhome. La Prairie is a small, family-friendly campsite with very friendly people, but my partner and I weren't happy with several things. Our pitch had no trees, so there was no shade at all, which was tough in August. It was also a long way from the toilet block. There weren't separate sinks for washing dishes, so people used the same ones for washing their hands after using the toilet, which didn't feel hygienic. The pitch was right by the motorway, and the traffic noise was really bad at night. We were woken by noisy vehicles a few times. The entertainment area was beside us as well, with activities often going on until 11 or midnight, so getting to sleep early after a long day was impossible.

I only stayed one night, from 4am to 9am, so I didn't get to try the pool or anything else and can't give the place my best review. The mobile homes are really noisy, even just walking around inside can wake everyone else up. After 11pm or midnight, you can't park inside the campsite and have to leave the car on the street. Depending on where you are, it's a 5-10 minute walk to get it.

Terrible.
