I never usually go into bars, but this one pulled me in twice. The locals made me feel like I belonged, and were friendly, curious, kind, and down to earth. They even complimented my very basic French, and we laughed a lot. The barman and other customers made me feel welcome, and meeting Blanche, Gladys, and little Paco was a real highlight of my Christmas. My dog was welcome to just be there, too. I didn't stay at the hotel, but this bar would be a reason to come back to Le Pouliguen.

The drinks at Le Mondès bar were generous and delicious, whether beer or cocktails. Julie and Onno were so kind and good-humored, and we really want to return often. The atmosphere is relaxed, a nice place to spend an evening with friends or unwind after a long day. We had a fantastic time. We also heard an apartment hotel is coming soon, and can't wait to try it.

That long coffee tasted more like water than coffee, and at €2.20 it was the most expensive one I've had. What a shame. The service earns the two stars I'm giving it.
