Bruno was fantastic. He helped us sort out what we needed at the gîte and in Le Puy, and even found us places to stay for the next couple of days along the chemin when we realized it was a holiday week and many spots on the Camino were already booked. They all turned out to be excellent. The hotel sits right on the chemin de Saint Jacques, so you can step outside and start walking. We stayed here at the beginning of our route and would come back if we return to Le Puy.

I was traveling alone by bike and stayed in a shared four-bed room. It was comfortable, quiet, and good value. Breakfast was fantastic, and the people were lovely and hospitable. Arriving after reception had closed wasn't a problem, since they sent me instructions for getting in. I'd definitely come back.

The service really stood out. The staff were so kind and understanding about us not speaking any French. Breakfast starts at 6:30, which made it easy to grab a quick bite before pilgrims' mass or set off early from Le Puy. The hotel is right on the Camino, a great starting point, and only a short walk from the Cathedral, Le Camino, and lots of good restaurants. My husband and I spent two nights here before starting the Camino. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was great, and the hot water was lovely. Stay here!

A great buffet breakfast, clean and fresh accommodation, and friendly, excellent service make this a good choice whenever I'm in Le Puy-en-Velay.

The staff were considerate, friendly, and helpful. The shared room and shower were good, though the mattresses could use replacing.
