Camping Le Ranch

There are plenty of camping pitches despite all the bungalows, and the setting is lovely, right by the beach with hills all around. The restaurant area was nice, the pizzas were great, and the bread service arrived on time. The shop was basic but had enough for a few essentials. Friendly, efficient staff and a nice campsite.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff were attentive without hovering. Dining at the restaurant was a delight. This place is first class.

The staff made us feel welcome and at home. The campsite has everything you need and sits right in front of a gorgeous, enormous beach. The toilets, showers, and swimming pool were always very clean.

The beach was only a 30 second walk from our pitch, stunning and almost empty. We surfed, swam, flew kites, and explored the rock pools at low tide. We even got lucky and saw dolphins twice! We also hired surfboards on site and took lessons at the surf school, just a minute's walk away. We stayed a week in our motorhome with our two teenage boys. The pitch was spacious, with a hedge for privacy, plus a picnic bench, water, and electricity. There were very few fellow Brits, which helped us feel like we were really abroad. The three swimming pools were a big favourite, and the facilities were spotless. The restaurant was great both times we ate there, with fantastic food and service. The Moule frite were amazing, and the crème brûlée was huge and delicious. We loved having fresh bread and pastries every morning, and all the staff were lovely and helpful. We went out for a couple of days and found plenty of good things to do. If you're in a motorhome, check the route first. Single track roads aren't much fun when you meet a combine harvester! It's so amazing here, I almost don't want to share it.
