Comfort Aparthotel Aix Le Tholonet

The bed and bathroom were the only good parts. The internet was unreliable, and the air conditioning didn’t work. When I reported it, they said it was still too cold and it would be fixed by Thursday. It still didn’t work on Thursday, when it was 28 degrees. The cleaning crew came only once a week and changed towels, but didn’t even sweep the floor. There wasn’t a broom, either, so they should tell guests to bring one. You pay for a hotel and still have to take out your own trash, with no replacement bags, and wash and neatly put away the used dishes. Breakfast was very poor, just a few pieces of toast, cold cuts, and stale rolls warmed a little. I can’t recommend it.

For what we paid, we were happy enough with the stay, though I wouldn’t choose it for more than one night. The only unpleasant issue we had was mold on the bathroom ceiling from poor ventilation. It’s right by the highway, with private secure parking and friendly staff. The hotel block also has quite a few people staying there semi permanently. You get what you pay for.

The room was comfortable and clean, and parking was available. I stayed just one night. The location is pretty good too, not far from Aix centre, though it might not suit a longer stay.

The area has more of a business feel. Prices and cleanliness were okay, and the accommodation was decent enough, but the service was on the weak side.
