Gîte du Charri

The setting is wonderfully quiet, with no through traffic or road noise, just nature on the hillside. It takes a little effort to find the gîte, and the access road is narrow, but once there, we were delighted. Inside, it’s lovingly furnished and has everything we needed, from the exposed beams and big wooden table to the terrace window and barbecue, which we used a lot. Wi-Fi made planning outings easy. There’s also a short hiking path to a small waterfall, about half an hour away. Nathalie, the owner, was warm and welcoming, and communication before and during our stay was excellent. We left feeling refreshed, our dog included.
