The grounds are a peaceful place to unwind, and there’s an indoor pool. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, with sofa bed options in the suites. The hotel is right in the centre of Le Touquet, a short walk from town and the beach. We had a warm, personal welcome and attentive service throughout. I’d thoroughly recommend staying here.

The gardens were our favourite part, with lovely design and decor. The pool was clean and relaxing, and the room was spacious, with a great location for walking. We were so glad we booked here. The hospitality was 5*, the food was great, and the scrambled eggs were very good too. Thanks for the great service.

The staff were pleasant, and we liked the surroundings, pool and location. To us, though, this is an upmarket B & B with serious problems around dogs on the premises. At breakfast in Le Salon, we saw at least three dogs with their owners, who were taking food from the buffet and feeding it to them. That is unhygienic and should stop. Pets should not be in the breakfast area at all. Dogs were also allowed to roam freely in the gardens. We saw one urinate on the outdoor furniture and leave faeces there. Its owners used a poo bag, but you still had to watch where you walked. Jardin d'Ypres is a couple of hundred metres away and would be a more appropriate place for dogs to relieve themselves. They should be kept on leads throughout the property. My husband was nearly bitten in the rear garden by a snappy, vicious dachshund that was off its lead. It attacked as he walked past minding his own business. The owners did nothing to reprimand it, and a staff member neither said anything to them nor asked them to keep the dog under control. Management should tell guests in advance that dogs must be leashed at all times before someone gets seriously hurt. After that frightening incident, we wanted to check out, but were told we’d be charged €242.00 because checkout time had passed. We felt we had to stay and left the following day. Between us, my husband and I have spent over 75 years in the travel industry. We’ve travelled extensively around the world and never encountered anything like this. We’ll never book pet-friendly accommodation again. It’s disappointing that management offered no apology, either in writing or when we left the B& B, just sheepish expressions.

We only had one night here, sadly, but we’ll be back. The family made us feel so welcome. It’s a stunning boutique hotel, a hidden paradise in Le Touquet, and anyone who loves interiors will appreciate all the detail that’s gone into this home.
