The atmosphere is warm and the place looks absolutely beautiful. It’s a shame the meal and service didn’t live up to it. The fries came out cold and soaked in oil, honestly pretty disgusting. The staff seemed inexperienced, and announcing our bill total out loud when we paid felt unprofessional. I can’t recommend it. Both the food and service need serious work.

We had a lovely breakfast right on the beach on our first morning. The hotel is well placed by the beach and near the city centre, with amenities, restaurants and a fun fair close by. Our family room was well equipped and roomy enough for two nights with a couple and a child under 10. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the restaurant was good. Highly recommended.

The reception staff were welcoming, and we had a room for three as a couple because the double rooms are small. That gave us a little extra space. When we reported that one window wouldn’t open, housekeeping kindly brought a fan and sent someone to fix it. The room wasn’t properly prepared for our arrival: there were tufts of hair in the shower. We stayed five nights, and our shampoo wasn’t topped up on the third or fourth day, even though we were down to our last bottle. Disappointing for a 3* hotel. The restaurant was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which meant no drinks at the beach bar or food at the restaurant until Wednesday. We reserved the table we wanted in person at 4pm and were told it was confirmed, but at 7pm they refused to give it to us. Nobody even apologized. It felt disrespectful, like they simply didn’t care. The food was okay, though the meat was overcooked, and it wasn’t worth visiting. Noise was another problem. One night the restaurant staff shouted and talked loudly until 23h30. With a sea view room like ours, we couldn’t sleep before midnight. On Friday, guests arrived for a wedding on Saturday night, and we were told the restaurant was fully booked. We had no plans to return anyway. At 23h00 there were still voices and music. If you want a quiet holiday, this isn’t the place. We also noticed that about half the guests didn’t wear masks in the hotel, and nobody checked. On our fourth night, the main entrance code for 21h was changed without anyone bothering to tell us.

The hotel has great facilities, including parking, a private beach, a swimming pool and a very good restaurant. We found the service very good too. It’s a good fit for a family holiday or a trip with friends.

The breakfast offers plenty of choice, and the rooms are lovely and very clean. You’re right on the beach, so the location is great.
