The rooms were more than adequate, and breakfast had a good selection. The hotel is in a brilliant spot, just a few minutes’ walk from bars and restaurants.

The bar is a really cool spot to unwind, and there’s a lovely terrace as well. I liked this independent hotel: it’s well run, in a great location, and the staff are good. The rooms are quite nice and quiet at night. The older guests seemed considerate of others, which was a relief. There’s no air conditioning, but it’s generally cooler by the coast, so opening the window was fine. The town clearly loves its seagulls. They swoop and glide around all night, which is fun to watch.

I really liked the retro bar, and breakfast had a good range of things to choose from. The rooms were clean and modern, the staff friendly, and the hotel is nicely placed near the beach. There’s a little parking at the back, though space is limited. Recommended.

We’ve stayed here many times and wouldn’t choose anywhere else now. It’s close to everything, with a nice bar, breakfast room, and conservatory. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our standard room, booked through Golf Breaks, was a little snug, but it was very clean and serviced well each day.
