There’s a spacious place to gather, set up with garden furniture and a large table. The accommodation is easy to reach, and we got a very warm welcome. One bedroom has air conditioning, with a fan in the living room.

The host was remarkably kind and helpful, and this simple, good-quality gîte worked well as a stopover for hikers. It’s just outside Vauclain, a fishing village.

The owner was very friendly and available whenever needed. We spent three nights in a lovely little studio that was clean and functional. I recommend it.
