The reception service was first class, and the hotel made a wonderful base for exploring the area. The rooms are a little dated and tired, but still more than adequate.

We spent a week here, and I felt breakfast should have been included in the rate. The hotel isn't actually by the beach as the pictures suggest; it's a kilometer away. With temperatures reaching 35 C, the bedrooms need fans. There's only one AC unit in the living room, and no option of a pedestal fan. We also had a three-hour power cut one night, and there was no inverter. The kitchen could use a mixie and hand blender. There's no fast EV charging point either, which is needed these days, and our car barely charged overnight.

The staff were friendly and tried to help, though they didn't manage to get things done. The setting is nice, but the hotel itself is below average. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, the lighting was poor, especially in the closets, and the air smelled damp. Breakfast wasn't impressive, and the grounds seemed poorly maintained for keeping insects away. The walk to the beach takes at least ten minutes, and it looks nothing like the online pictures. Those photos show the restaurant, which is completely separate from the hotel.

The shower in room 37 was honestly the best I've ever had, with colorful tiles and incredible water pressure and flow, plus very hot water. The room itself was clean and beautiful, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was simple but had real espresso, which is extremely important to me. There's also a good restaurant on Cala Rossa beach, and the beach is beautiful. We usually travel by car and stay no more than two days in one hotel. At first we weren't convinced because this place isn't on the shore, but it's about 500 meters from the beach, and the hotel has a restaurant there. What a surprise to find a lovely garden with all the rooms arranged around it. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice, quiet, fairly budget-friendly room in Corsica.
