The morning started with a lovely petit dejeuner, good baguette, marmalade, orange juice, and a pot of coffee. Mr Emanuel had suggested the nearby beach, so we went to check it out, and it was amazing. The night before, a thunderstorm with heavy rain and lightning was coming in, and we needed somewhere to stay. Even though we only booked after 9 pm that same evening, the owner found a way to fit us in and welcomed us like friends. We had warm tea, or a beer in my case, while the “Canada” room was made ready. It’s spacious enough for eight people. Another couple arrived late after finding no room at the nearby campingsites, and they were welcomed too. We were really glad we chose this place. Thanks so much!

Just a heads-up, it’s a guesthouse with a shared bathroom and toilet, set in a lovely spot right by the bike path. We were treated so well, the welcome was fantastic, the service spot on, and the host was available and committed throughout. A little paradise for open-minded people. Thanks for the hospitality!

There’s a great driftwood summer kitchen with griddles, ideal for cooking and having a drink. The whole place feels calm and relaxing as soon as you walk in, and it seems designed to make everyone comfortable. For sports gear, there’s safe storage and a place to wash things like SUP paddleboards, surfboards, kitesurfing gear, and bikes. It’s clearly set up with athletes in mind.

We’ve only just arrived, and we’re already really happy with the place. Everyone was welcoming. The beach is about a five-minute drive away, and the small friendly restaurants serve generous portions that make you want to see more of this beautiful area. If you like things simple and peaceful, with the region’s beauty thrown in, I’d recommend discovering it as soon as you can.
