Hôtel des Dunes

We were just steps from the dunes and beach, and loved the peaceful feel of the terrace. My wife and I spent several nights at Hotel Dunes, where the room was beautifully maintained. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, from the warm check-in welcome to the attentive service throughout. They made sure we had what we needed to feel comfortable. We'd highly recommend it for a relaxing, enjoyable stay in this beautiful part of the world.

Getting to the huge, unspoilt beach takes about ten minutes through sand and over a couple of steep slopes, carrying whatever you need. There are no bars there, but the walk in the heat was well worth it. Our stay felt magical. The place is stylish, clever in its design, spotless, and environmentally responsible. We could read beautiful Assouline beach/ surfer books in the bright little terrace and sitting room. The young bilingual staff were charming and arranged bikes, good restaurant recommendations, and a pretty, useful beach parasol for us. In the evening there was a relaxed bar, and breakfast was delicious too. It's a lovely little place right by the stunning dune beach.

In a quiet, leafy setting, this little gem is just steps from the sand dunes. The hotel has been redecorated with exquisite taste and lots of attention to detail, and as it's small, the service feels personal. Breakfast was delicious. The location is just right, far enough from the busy center for a quiet night but close enough to reach everything in two minutes. Honestly, it felt like paradise in Cap Ferret. A rare find.
