The restaurant and bar are a good addition, but the rooms are really small. In ours, I had to climb over my partner to get out of bed, and the linen looked dated.

On a pouring rainy night, we couldn't find a ride to the ferry, so the manager Jerome drove us himself. Thank you, Jerome, you're wonderful! Our waitress was kind and attentive, and the food was incredible. I recommend the carpaccio. A friend recommended this restaurant, and it really is a nice escape from the crowds of Cap Ferret, with an incredible fine dining selection at reasonable prices. You won't find better service on the cap!

A friendly bar and restaurant team, great drinks for aperitif, and tasty small bites, all with lovely outdoor seating. We were disappointed by the food, though. The pasta scampi, tuna, and scallops were all very basic, and lacked quality. I'd recommend it for apero and snacks.

The room's bed was set into an alcove, so the person on the inside would have to climb over the person outside to get up during the night. That should have been disclosed when we booked. We were only there one night and got the last room, so we had lower expectations. The property and its dining room are visibly charming, though. We were staying at the hotel and had a reservation, but the manager was annoyed when we didn't want the table by the front door. He moved us reluctantly and refused our request for an unreserved window table nearby, even though the restaurant was half full. The wait staff were pleasant enough but seemed poorly trained. They took our aperitif order, then brought the dinner wine and main courses before we had finished our drinks. The service felt rushed and a bit clueless. The food was fine, but at those prices I expected better preparation and presentation. The dessert buffet was poorly done and low in quality. You can do a lot better in Cap Ferret for what they charge. This review is mostly about the hotel's restaurant, Le Bistrot du Bassin.

The rooms, food, and service were all great, and we had a wonderful time. I especially enjoyed mixing with the locals at the pub. Clemence is a star and put together a mean playlist. Absolutely amazing place.
