We loved how quiet and scenic it was, with mountain activities like hiking and cycling close by. The house is beautiful, very spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. Auberge de Leoncel is right across the way, and Refuge du Grand Echaillon is a six-minute drive. The hosts were so warm and welcoming. We’d happily come back and recommend this gîte.

We spent seventeen nights here as a family of eight, and the separate bedrooms were a real plus. Everyone enjoyed the mountain views, and we got out for some lovely hikes. The big kitchen had everything we needed to make delicious meals. Inside and outside, it’s a comfortable, thoughtfully decorated place with a warm feel, and Léoncel itself is wonderfully peaceful.

After a day hiking, we had a wonderfully restful, peaceful night. We were the only guests, and the house was very well looked after. The welcome when we arrived was one of a kind, and breakfast was perfect, with fresh regional products. Thanks, Isabelle, and good luck with the new adventure with the cottage and inn. The setting is marvelous, and La Vercorelle is such a lovely place to stay. Isabelle and Catherine gave us a warm welcome. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated around its own theme. Breakfast was generous, all homemade with fresh local ingredients, and the jams were delicious. We also had a wonderful table d'hôtes. I recommend it without hesitation.
