The place itself was fine, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds, but we left feeling we'd made a bad choice. At breakfast, the owners got a bit short with us and commented on how much we'd eaten, even though we'd paid at check-in. We had a big day ahead, and I don't want to feel judged for how many croissants I eat at 8am. It came across as very unprofessional. The place is a bit rough around the edges too, with our toilet propped up on timber boards instead of fixed to the floor. The train station is a five-minute walk across the canal.

A huge thank you to the receptionist, maybe the owner, for being so kind and flexible. Our friend's train was cancelled during the terrible storm Nils, and at 8.30 am they gave him a room for the day and night while he waited for another train. Since he didn't know when one would be available, that flexibility was a big help. He was made very welcome in the lounge while waiting to leave this afternoon. The basic room was exceptionally clean, and breakfast for 10 euros was good. Just over 50 euros for more than 24 hours was very reasonable. It's only a couple hundred meters from both the centre and train station, a fantastic find.

I'll definitely come back. The staff were super friendly, the bed was super comfy, and breakfast was a tasty buffet with lots of fresh produce. Lovely hotel in a great spot by the canal, just a three-minute walk from the train station. Merci to everyone.

Good value, with modern, clean rooms. It's five minutes from the canal and train station, and about a 20-minute walk to the castle. There are several restaurants just a short walk away.

A good budget option, especially if you're coming by train. There are lots of bars and restaurants within five minutes, and it's about 20 minutes to the old city. We could check in at midday. The room was basic but clean, and we skipped breakfast because we were leaving early.
