The garden is lovely and spacious, and the pool was great on warm days. Ophelia also made a really nice breakfast with fresh jam, bread, and cakes, and can prepare a simple dinner with vegetables from her garden if you ask. We first stayed for two nights with our two daughters while travelling from Belgium to Spain. We enjoyed it so much that we booked another stay two weeks later on the way back. We’d happily return whenever we’re in the area.

Our host made a delicious breakfast each morning, and the room was both clean and very comfortable. There’s a shared kitchen too. We stayed for two nights and would definitely come back another time.

The garden is big, with a beautiful river just across it, and the wineries are nearby. Our kids and pets had room to play, and the dogs were so calm they slept beside us like babies. The bed was wonderfully cozy, just the right firmness, and the bathroom was modern. The romantic furnishings were lovely, and everything was clean. The host was kind and helpful, and spoke good English compared with other places we’d stayed in Europe. Some parts of the place are still being built, but it’s already beautiful. 5/5, it’s rare to find somewhere this worth it!

A real hidden gem. If peace and quiet are what you’re after, this place is a perfect choice.
