Le Refuge de La Traye

We loved the spa and movie room, and skiing was easy to arrange: the included transfer to the slopes went smoothly. The team was also great with last-minute requests. The chef made tailored dinners each evening, including a custom spread of tailgating food so we could watch the college football championship in the theatre. That thoughtful touch says a lot about the care we received. Le Refuge de la Traye feels calm and luxurious, with impeccable, comfortable accommodations. From arrival onward, every staff member was attentive and accommodating, and it was clear they cared about the details. The facilities were impressive, too. It's a great choice for a serene luxury ski holiday, whether solo or as a couple, and the range of kid-friendly activities means families are well catered for too. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this special retreat for either winter or summer.

Even when the weather turned snowy or foggy, we still had a lovely time. There are fun things to do, including quiet forest walks on snowshoes. The views of snowy mountains are spectacular, the rooms are spacious, warm and cozy, and they were always spotless. The food was delicious with lots of variety, and the desserts were the best I've ever had. Everyone was so kind and hospitable, always ready to help with whatever we needed. I loved staying here and can't wait to go back. I'd really recommend it for a trip with family or friends.

A lovely secluded hotel with great facilities and delicious food. The shuttle to the ski slopes runs on a flexible schedule. Highly recommend!
